Aesop’s Fables is a magical whole-family musical theatre delight, playing now at the Fugard Theatre,

This musical theatre showcase, using marimbas, vocals and percussion, can be enjoyed by the whole family, and will be running during the World Cup. Both parents and children will get enjoy this welcome artistic interlude in-between all the soccer. Isango Portobello are offering all tickets at half-price for under 12s and can also accommodate requests for alternative performances times for schools, youth groups and block bookings.

“The beauty of the story is that the fables penned by Aesop contain a lighthearted moral message for adults to be able to engage with it, but it is also a lovely story told by animals that children would enjoy for its sheer entertainment value,” said Mark Dornford-May, Isango Portobello’s Artistic Director.

Aesop's Fables is showing at The Fugard Theatre from 10 June –10 July 2010.
