The Olivier Award winning South African company Isango Portobello’s triumphant new production of THE MYSTERIES has opened at the Baxter Theatre Centre in Cape Town to rave reviews, ahead of a transfer to the Garrick Theatre in London’s West End this September.
The Cape Times said: “High energy and an avalanche of talent characterise this latest show production from director Mark Dornford-May and producer Eric Abraham…brilliant and imaginative”
The Next 48 Hours wrote ““Anyone who has seen an Isango Portobello production…would attest that we’re dealing with some pretty awesome, superstar-like talent here. Pauline Malefane surely ranks as one of the most commanding, and beautiful leading ladies in the world.”
THE MYSTERIES runs until July 5th at the Baxter Theatre. Isango Portobello will then return to the West End for twenty five performances only, from September 11th to October 3rd.
